Official mediaDeep Dish Dungeon Guides
Six pages for the six walls players actually hit. Each one names its source and the build it was checked against.
Deep Dish Dungeon deliberately hands you no map, no compass and no quest marker. The developer says so in the store description: the game is "meant to be played without any hand-holding", and getting stuck is an expected part of it. These pages exist for the moment that stops being fun.
Read them in this order
- Full walkthrough — the opening hour, the tool chain and one recorded route from camp to the final fight.
- Wiki and database — what the game tracks, the 22 treasures, the crafting stations and the areas.
- Key chain — the Small Key, the smelted Iron Key and the Prison Key, in the order the doors want them.
- Statue puzzle — two published solutions, plus what to do if you already scrambled the statues.
- Golden chest — the six gold treasures, and why your chest looked empty.
- Roots — the axe, the four reasons it will not cut, and the collision bug that patch 1.0.50.0 removed.
What every page commits to
- A named source. Steam store fields, official patch notes or a dated community report — never "someone said".
- A build number. Facts are aligned to patch 1.0.51.0 (23 October 2026) and say so where a patch changed the answer.
- A version stamp. Facts are aligned to patch 1.0.51.0 (23 October 2026), and anything a patch changed says so on the page.
The one rule these pages follow
Launch-week guides are already out of date. Patch 1.0.50.0 stopped your inventory from dropping on death, changed the Cooking Table unlock from Corn to Leather, and removed the root collision that trapped players in the Temple. Anything written before 21 October describes a different game.
If you only have two minutes
Fill all three food slots before the first door, carry the tool you came for rather than the tool you might need, and remember that the pause menu's Starve to Death option returns you to your last save. That single button resolves most "I am stuck" reports that are not actually puzzles.
