The build history in reverse order. Everything below comes from the official Steam announcement feed, not from a changelog someone retyped.

Deep Dish Dungeon shipped on October 13, 2026 and has had three public builds since. The list is short enough to read in full, which is exactly why launch-week guides go stale so fast: one of the three patches changed how death works.
The build chain
| Build | Date | What it changed |
|---|---|---|
| 1.0.51.0 | Oct 23, 2026 | Hotfix on top of the inventory rework. Also fixes players being thrown into the void near the Temple statue and the Vine Heart |
| 1.0.50.0 | Oct 21, 2026 | Inventory rework — the change that stopped your carried items from dropping on death, and added host-side player removal |
| 1.0.47.0 | Oct 15, 2026 | Post-launch build, two days after release |
Why 1.0.50.0 matters more than its number suggests
Before the rework, dying cost you the inventory you were carrying. After it, the run costs you time instead of loot. Any walkthrough published in the launch week — including several still ranking well — describes the old penalty.
Not every official note is a patch
Two announcements sit outside the build chain but change what the store page promises:
- Steam Deck Verified — confirmed by the developer on September 30, 2026, ahead of launch.
- Game Pass day one — the Xbox release landed on October 13 alongside the Steam release, with crossplay between the two.
How this page is checked
The build numbers and dates are read from the Steam announcement feed, and the store page is re-read on the day a page ships for anything price- or review-related. We do not publish a patch note we cannot find a build number for, and we do not summarise a fix we cannot quote.
Confidence note
Builds 1.0.47.0, 1.0.50.0 and 1.0.51.0 are the three confirmed public builds as of 2026-10-27. If the game ships another build, this table is the first thing that gets updated — the homepage patch badge reads from the same number.
